Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Sunday–Friday)

Salary: NPR 30,000/month (Negotiable based on experience)


Role Summary

We are hiring a Shadow Teacher for 1:1 classroom support for a Grade 1 student with social communication and learning needs in a mainstream school.


This role is suited for candidates with prior exposure to child development, SEN (special educational needs), or therapy-informed support. The focus is to enable independence, improve communication, and support classroom participation.


Key Responsibilities

• Support the student in following classroom routines and curriculum using structured prompts and visual aids

• Facilitate peer interaction and social engagement

• Encourage functional communication and emerging speech

• Apply basic behavioral and sensory regulation strategies

• Maintain concise daily progress notes and coordinate with parents and therapists

Minimum Requirements (Strict Screening)

• Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing study) in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or related field

• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience (e.g., shadow teaching, therapy support, special needs education, preschool support)

• Strong patience, consistency, and observational skills

• Ability to provide low-profile (“shadow”) support that promotes independence

Preferred Profile

• Experience supporting children with speech delays, social-communication challenges, or diverse learning needs

• Familiarity with IEP-style support, visual schedules, or therapist-guided interventions

• Female candidates preferred
